I don't know that all of this is in the most logical sequence, but follow through it please. It's all I am taking time with for now.
Borrowed political style paragraph:
It goes without saying that Trump is a fan of the trophy wife. She is significantly younger than him. One might think that she likes money. [One site says she is the forth wife, but most say third.] And one has to question if having such a First Lady would project the image the United States is going for. Many have commented in the media over the years that Trump doesn’t have the traditional marriage. One has to wonder if this is how the United States should be portraying its core values.
Starting with the marriages
In 1990, Donald and Ivana, his then-Czech wife of 13 years [married in 1977], were in Aspen for the winter holidays. Marla Maples was also in town. There were rumors.
“I saw him walking with his arm around a blond and I just assumed it was Ivana,” a Chicago decorator “who spent the holidays in Colorado” told the Chicago Tribune in 1990. “Same size, same hair. I walked around to look, but it wasn’t her. The two ladies they got into a verbal—or, depending on who you ask, physical confrontation.
Maples, 26 years old in 1990, was to become his 2nd wife in 1993, and their union lasted six years. She made front-page news after she was quoted telling a friend that sex with The Donald was "the best sex I’ve ever had” when the two had that affair in 1990. While Ivana reportedly got $25 million fromTrump when their marriage ended, Maples walked away with under $2 million.

Donald Trump courted wife Melania while out on a date with another woman in 1998. (He obviously was married to Ivana at the time. )
Melenia Trump, 45, is a most gorgeous x-model and designer from Slovenia. The couple married in Palm Beach, Fla., in 2005.
In many ways, Melania Trump would be a first in American history:
She'd be the only first lady who is the third wife of a president, and the first to be born and raised in a communist nation, according to Carl Anthony, historian at the National First Ladies' Library.
She almost certainly has shown more skin than any other U.S. first lady — that was her in 2006, very pregnant, in a gold bikini on the steps of her husband's private jet in Vogue magazine.

I do have to ask - is a first lady's origin and influence important?
Then I ask: Is the birthplace of candidate Cruz important?
In the first place: I think so, considering.
In the second place, I think hardly.
And there is a very interesting historical analysis from end to end about the birther issue. Aside from the final perhaps legal finish on this issue, the history makes it doubtful in my mind that Cruz should be disqualified.
For now, Melania Trump, 45, is her husband's top supporter at events, a striking brunette swathed in couture and frequently seen, but seldom heard. At Myrtle Beach, she asked “Isn't he the best?”. He was heard saying: “Thank you, honey. Very nice.” They celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary Friday. Their relationship began at least six years earlier, dating back to the 1998 party in Manhattan when the newly separated Trump asked then-model Melania Knauss, 24 years his junior, for her telephone number. She rebuffed him because he was with a date that night

the Justice Department sued Trump in 1970 for refusing to rent his rental units to minorities. Currently, no one has run with the story but it’s beginning to gain some slight traction. Honestly, with all of the questionable comments, this past lawsuit isn’t even surprising.
Trump has made one thing very clear throughout his presidential run–he has no tolerance for illegal immigrants and has no respect for the Latino community.
He recently criticized Carly Fiorina’s appearance in the media as well as panned Megyn Kelly for her treatment of him during the Fox News Republican debate. While Trump has continued to clarify his comments as well as say he has a lot of respect for women, his actions continue to say otherwise.
In one of his lowest blows yet, Trump went after Senator McCain, a known war hero, who was imprisoned during the Vietnam War. While appearing at the Family Leadership Summit, Trump said: “He’s not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” The comments shocked many political circles because McCain spent over five and a half years tortured in a Vietnam prison camp known as the Hanoi Hilton.
A lawsuit by former students of Trump University (Designed to help students learn better real estate practices) has been filed where they’ve claimed they lost millions with nothing to show for it. after their first workshops, they decided that the only thing Trump cared about was charging them more money.
Over the course of his business career, Donald Trump has filed for bankruptcy four times. One definitely has to call into question whether or not Trump has the ability to manage the nation’s finances if he can’t even handle his own. Trump hasn’t really offered any solid plans for when it comes to how he would deal with our nation’s debt crisis or the economy in general, so there’s much to be desired on if he could handle the financial pressure.
Whatever Happened to Trump's Second Wife, Marla Maples
http://news.yahoo.com/whatever-happened-trumps-second-wife-210400854.html
In his 1997 book, Trump: The Art of the Comeback, he wrote: "I only have one regret in the women department - that I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer. She was a genuine princess - a dream lady." [Written while having been married to Melenia in 1995.]
The two never dated but after Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris in 1997, Trump told friends, "He always thought he had a chance of romance and would have had a 'shot' with her," according to the article. British television host Selena Scott dded that Princess Diana - who was her close friend - said that Diana was so turned off by Trump, she asked Scott: "What am I going to do? He gives me the creeps." Scott said that Trump clearly saw Diana as the ultimate trophy wife.
Selena Scott has been feuding with Trump for years. [Why, l ask.]
My overriding points are:
- My 150 year family and personal background is GOP and a different kind of conservatism than exists today. I'm not happy at all about what the GOP has become. Read on.
- Conservatives attacked Bubba fiercely. As they should have. But... are there two standards, depending on who we are pushing? For one whose first allegiance is to God not political party, this isn't acceptable.
- When Bill came in, the retiring president Bush said let's unite for the benefit of the nation. I wish I had a recording of that. The nation did not unite. It began the fiercest mudslinging war that anyone could dredge up. I was ashamed of my friends for their part in it.
- There have been the birther attacks by the conservatives. Considering the functional reasons why that might be important, than what is the situation with this candidate having been a little bit of a playboy and adulterer, and now married to a woman forn a communist country. She hides in the background. What does she feel about morality, freedom, over-government, Judeo-Christian values.?
Donald says his wife gave him advice after the debates: “She said, ‘You can tone it down a little bit on occasion,’ which I understand.”
