I am making this personal because if an announcement would make an unnecessary hailstorm of accusations and back and forth that would be very destructive and completely unnecessary..
I believe that Heavenly Father had a body.
I do not believe He has a body that is pumping blood like ours, somewhere on an oxygen-less place at this time.
I believe that He has all the powers that are always stated about Him.
I believe they are spiritual powers, powers to control great things through nature, energy, and oh don't pin me down: atoms, radiation, radiated energy of the sort man is just beginning to mimic, etc. The World. Worlds without number.
When someone sees their deceased mother or spouse, etc., is there a physical body temporarily in front of the person? When someone I know saw her grandmother as she was in the hospital bed 1000 miles away, telling here that GM was OK, at the time she was on life support before she died, was her physical body transported to be in front of grand daughter?
Heavenly Father, Heavenly beings, have the power and ability to transmit their image in front or above someone and communicate their message. We don't know but I suspect that the departed person,is able to negotiate to make such visits in the form of transmission of visibility. Think of how the aurora borealis manifests itself, or even of a lightning bolt. How that transmission occurs is beyond an attempt by me to understand specifically let alone explain. So that is how I believe that God's being has been physically seen.
There have been relatively recently some illustrations of how, electronically in mid air there have been made to be imagery visible where there what not physical substance as we consider it. Cannot the Most High God have this power? Of course.
Beyond that, I don't care. God lives, the savior lives, the gospel as interpreted correctly is true, and virtually all else. I have felt my father's presence with me 20 years after he did and I had joined the Church, and have had a group of my father's deceased family with me in the temple. I'm very happy with it. I work in the temple and have seen things.
